What to Expect

What to Expect

Our worship gatherings are casual and friendly. The message of the day is focused on practical biblical application to daily realities. Our worship style blends modern worship songs with timeless truths found in scripture.

  • What time does your worship service begin?

We offer two Sunday worship opportunities each Sunday at 9am & 10:30am.  These services provide the same experience and allow us to double our impact! Your children are welcome to sit with you; however, if you would like to have them join others in their age-level classrooms, we encourage you to arrive a few minutes early to get them checked in!  You'll notice that many friends come into service late-so don't worry if you are running behind!

  • What should I wear to a worship service?

Come ready to experience God's love - and don't worry about how you are dressed.  We believe what you wear is not as  important as you being here.

  • What is a worship service like?

Worship can vary from church to church. At FCC, we design each service to include some music that you can sing along with if you'd like. We also have a message that offers understanding and practical application of biblical truth to our lives. The music and message are designed to be engaging and encouraging for all stages of life. You can expect the servcie to last about 65 minutes or so.

  • Do you serve Communion?

Communion is an act of worship that Jesus modeled with his friends on the final night, before he was crucified on the cross. That is why it is also called The Lord's Supper.

In the act of Communion, we distribute a piece of bread as a symbol of Jesus' body. We also use a cup of grape juice as a symbol of the blood that Jesus shed for our sins on the cross. Sometimes we pass out small cups of juice and other times we take the bread and dip it into a cup of juice.

Communion is never forced upon nor is it expected. If you would like to receive Communion at FCC, you do not need to be a member. It is available for anyone who is seeking the love and mercy of our God.

  • Do you Baptize?

Yes we do! Jesus commanded his followers to "make believers" and "baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit." We have a baptistry (large tank of water) and several times throughout the year, we will offer baptism for anyone who is ready to take this incredible next step in their journey of faith!

We have a complete espresso bar that is staffed with knowledgeable and helpful baristas each Sunday!
